You are viewing a 25 inch Scrimshaw/carved Elephant tusk Replica.They are formed and veneered with thick segments of Bovine Bone, Bubalus bubalis (Asian water buffalo).
There is very detailed carving scenes on each one.There are birds, running water, men in komona, Trees, rocks, plants compasses, Ocean, flowers, clouds and other intricate designs.
The bases are about 3 inches tall and included in the overall height.
